Founded in 1906, Neighborhood House is one of the oldest social service agencies in the Puget Sound region. Today, we continue to provide services to address the needs of entire families, with a focus on low-income community members, public housing residents, immigrants, and refugees. We serve over 15,000 people annually through our major program areas of early childhood education, youth development, employment and adult education, housing stability, aging and disability services, and community health.
For 40 years, the Pike Market Senior Center & Food Bank has served the basic needs of low-income older adults and families as they experience food insecurity, inadequate nutrition, homelessness, social isolation and lack of opportunity.
Rise Together is a collaborative of six Seattle-area nonprofits working together to create equitable developments with and for community. Together, we are building over 400 new affordable homes in the Central District, Capitol Hill and White Center neighborhoods, alongside space for community programs, health and human services, and local minority-owned businesses.
