Bike Works promotes the bicycle as a vehicle for change to empower youth and build resilient communities. Since 1996 we’ve worked to educate and empower youth, and make bicycling accessible and affordable to the Seattle community.
The Black & Tan Hall is a performing arts community space and restaurant opening this year in Seattle’s Hillman City District.
The Black Cat Orchestra was formed in Seattle in 1991. Our repertoire spans a wide range of styles, including music from Eastern Europe, Latin America and Asia as well as original songs. In addition to concerts, club dates and private parties, the Orchestra has performed original scores to several silent films.
The Black Diamond Historical Society was formed by a small group, led by Carl and Ann Steiert, who decided to honor the nation’s bicentennial by preserving a little bit of America right at home. Many felt a strong concern for the disappearing buildings and artifacts in Black Diamond. Restoration of the depot began following the formation of the Historical Society in 1976. The museum opened in 1982.
Blue Earth believes documentary photography can inspire positive change. We support visual storytelling on critical environmental and social issues through direct assistance to photographers and a collaborative community of professionals.
Boise Centre opened in 1990 and is Idaho’s largest convention, meeting and tradeshow facility. Located in vibrant downtown Boise adjacent to the Grove Plaza. Featuring, 86,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space. The convention center hosts more than 220 diverse events each year, bringing over 125,000 guests through our doors.
Seattle’s only cookbook shop, featuring US & imported titles as well as author talks, demonstrations and cooking classes.
Building Changes pushes for racial equity and change across systems to better serve people experiencing homelessness in Washington. Our Vision: Communities thrive when people have safe and stable housing and can equitably access and use services.
