EchoX includes a steadily growing searchable database of organizations, groups, writers, artists and others organized by ethnicity, cultural focus, type of heritage work and/or type of community action. Check back often to see newly added listings!

Community resource listings will grow organically as you and others are added! If you’re involved with community work related to EchoX themes – ethnic cultural heritage and social action – click ‘Sign Up’ in the upper right corner and add your own page to the Directory for free!

After clicking ‘Sign Up’ you will be taken to a form to fill out to create your account. Once you open your account, you’ll have ongoing access to an EchoX backend template where you may provide any information you want others to see. You can also add your own events to the calendar with details and artwork.

CAIR Washington is grassroots advocacy and civil rights organization based in Seattle that serves the Muslim community across Washington state. Our purpose is to defend the civil liberties of Muslim Washingtonians no matter where they live or their level of income. We do this by 1) providing free legal services to Muslims who’ve been discriminated against because they are Muslim, 2) working to combat Islamophobia and bigotry through education and storytelling, and 3) empowering our community to be politically and socially engaged while shaping laws and policies that impact us.

Halau Hula O Napualani is the oldest Hawaiian dance school (Halau) in Seattle, Washington. We hold classes in Seattle and Gig Harbor. We teach dance and music. Our dance classes include Traditional Hawaiian Hula (Auana and Kahiko), Tahitian, and Maori dancing. Music that we teach includes ukulele and toere/pahu pehe (Tahitian drumming).

Founded in 1962 and incorporated in 1963; we have been actively involved in the Pacific Northwest through various festivals, our Hui Wa'a Canoe team and our club meetings/gatherings that are held monthly. Afghan Student Association, (ASA) strives to bring together all the students dedicated to contribute efforts in expanding cultural and education awareness of our culture to Green River College and the surrounding community. The Afghan Student Association aims to provide resources to our fellow Afghan Gators through forming a community network in which we can help each other grow and learn through events and celebrations, tutoring, sharing resources, and becoming an academic and social support system. Lummi Stepping Stones (LSS) is a self sustaining 501c(3) Non-Profit Organization sponsored under the Lhaq’temish Foundation. LSS was created and formed by a few action oriented community members who were focused on addressing the unmet need for Native Americans who are affected by homelessness on and off the reservation. Our doors first opened in the winter on December 6, 2016 and has since grew to additional locations.  We  provide on average 50/60 men, woman and children who are affected by homelessness for a variety of reasons.
