As a Black/ Native/ Italian mixed woman, mother, artist, and storyteller, I find elements in my journey to tell my story in various mediums, such as beadwork, digital art, video, film, drawing, and photography.

NFFTY has grown into the world’s largest film festival for emerging directors. Each year the festival showcases films by directors 24 and under.
NFFTY supports young filmmakers by offering professional level workshops year-round. In addition NFFTY.org hosts filmmaker resources, tips, news and information.
Within NFFTY lies a creative production company, NFFTY Creative, that connects brands with emerging talent to produce original content.

Seattle, WA Recently through non-fiction writing works, plays, and screenplays, women at Hedgebrook have been a voice for helping raise awareness in a vast range of issues, including: women’s rights in the Middle East, the spread of AIDS in Africa, inner city violence in America, rights of incarcerated women prisoners, political strife in Cambodia, radioactive fallout in the Ukraine, highway construction dividing a Latino community, the ethical responsibilities of the pharmaceutical industry, and environmental stress on bees.

Seattle, WA The Agape House (TAH) is a 501c3 not-for-profit agency with the primary goal of offering non-timed limited housing to women of color, between the ages of 18-21, especially as they “age-out” of foster care. TAH is unique but practical in its approach to provide education and/or training as well as life skills for each woman in the program. TAH is committed to seeing each woman employed and relocated to permanent housing. Agape House, a preventative program is designed to provide women, who would be likely candidates for human trafficking, safe housing and training before they can reach the “streets”.
