Seattle, WA The Alliance Française de Seattle is a dynamic educational and cultural 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in the state of Washington since 1987, whose mission is to promote the French language and Francophone cultures through diverse programs in the Puget Sound area. It is part of an international network of Alliances Françaises—832 in 131 countries, and 105 of them in 2021 in the USA alone.

Seattle, WA In autumn of 1994, the University of Washington Scandinavian Department, with support from the Center for Russian, East European and Central Asian Studies, began teaching the languages of the three Baltic States, Estonian, Latvian, and Lithuanian at multiple levels. Language instruction is at the core of the growing Program in Baltic Studies. This program is also developing in other areas. Estonian, Latvian, and Lithuanian materials are included in numerous courses. Prominent speakers on Baltic topics are regularly brought to the University for guest lectures and consultation with faculty and students. Outstanding students receive financial support for exchanges to Baltic universities.

CityU is a not-for-profit university headquartered in the Seattle area. Its mission is to change lives by offering a quality education to anyone with the desire to learn. CityU has been offering a high-quality, relevant, higher education for nearly four decades and is pleased to have WAL join it in serving its mission.

Palo Alto, CA Nova Ukraine is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening civil society in Ukraine. We assist Ukraine in recovering from the economic and social crisis. We work closely with non-profits and civil activists in Ukraine to provide immediate response where it is most needed. Nova Ukraine is involved in raising awareness, fundraising, cultural events, and round table discussions dedicated to Ukraine and Ukrainian culture.

Washington DC, DC With approximately 132,000 members throughout the United States and Puerto Rico, LULAC is the largest and oldest Hispanic organization in the United States. LULAC advances the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health and civil rights of Hispanic Americans through community-based programs operating at more than 1,000 LULAC councils nationwide. The organization involves and serves all Hispanic nationality groups.
