Mission
The mission of the Islamic Center of Redmond (ICOR) is to establish a mosque and center that fosters an active, diverse and united community based on the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), through religious, social and educational programs and to facilitate good relations, understanding and cooperation with other members of the society.

About
ICOR is a non-profit organization incorporated in the state of Washington to engage exclusively in religious, educational and community activities in conformity with the Islamic Law of Ahle Sunna Wal Jama’at, as defined in the Quran and the Sunnah (Traditions) of the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him).
The purpose of the center are as follows:
- To establish the Islamic system of life (Aqamat-e-Deen)
- To engage in propagation of Islam (At-Dawah)
- To serve as a mosque for daily, Friday, and other compulsory and supererogatory Islamic prayers
- To serve as an institution of learning for the Muslim community
- To provide Islamic services, guidance and assistance to the Muslim community
- To celebrate Islamic holidays and festivals
- To promote inter-faith dialogue and discussion
- To promote and support Islamic causes
