Kirkland, WA The Gardens at Juanita Bay (formerly known as the German Retirement Home) is a 48 apartment Senior Community. Our newer name reflects its broader population of residents and captures its lovely eastside location. We are nestled on a 3 1/2 acre tract of land in Kirkland purchased in 1973 and developed, constructed and readied for occupancy in 1977.

Bellevue, WA The Bellevue College German Program is committed to offering a solid one-year sequence of German instruction. Listening, speaking, reading and writing are addressed in depth. German culture is woven into all our classes. Web exercises, film clips and web sites are part of the technology used to assist the learning process. Seattle, WA The festival began in 2006 after Cyrus Khambatta, Executive Artistic Director for Khambatta Dance attended an Artistic Director Leadership training program with a grant from The Paul G. Allen Foundation and began to realize a long, stirring desire to connect audiences with dance through the festival environment. After a decade in which his own Khambatta Dance was invited to numerous international festivals, each with its own particular take on dance, he found the excitement and fervor with which audiences digested dance works to be a stimulating environment in which to create.

Wenatchee, WA Musikkapelle Leavenworth, the Bavarian Village town band, began in 1996 under the direction of Chris Shimer. The band performs at all major Leavenworth festivals and activities in addition to out-of-town appearances. It is typical of town bands of Bavaria.
