Seattle, WA We, the Sundiata African American Cultural Association produce a cultural festival yearly. We have come to know that Festival Sundiata is a breath of fresh air when it comes to racial relations and cultural competency. We are a volunteer group of folks that plan all year and give our best effort to celebrate and introduce the culture of people of African decent to the people in the Northwest. Each one of our festivals are free of charge to attend, you won’t find a better deal anywhere in the Northwest. Make sure to buy a t-shirt or poster to remind you of this great festival.

Redmond JGSWS helps our members find their Jewish family roots. We hold monthly meetings with guest lecturers, and we sponsor workshops. We offer programs for beginners as well as seasoned researchers. Recent topics included immigration records, Jewish given names, forensic genealogy, genealogical research on the Internet, how to find an ancestral town, and how to create a family health portrait.

Seattle, WA For over 70 years, the Anti-Defamation League’s Pacific Northwest Regional Office has provided services and resources to the five states of Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, and Alaska. ADL’s Pacific Northwest Region is dedicated to combating hate, promoting civil rights and securing fair and just treatment for everyone in our communities.
The office is located in Seattle, Washington and is led by staff and a dedicated Advisory Board of committed community leaders and volunteers.
In the Pacific Northwest region, we deliver programs that promote diversity and respect in schools, train law enforcement on hate crimes and bias, advocate for civil rights legislation, and help members of the community handle incidents of discrimination and bias.
