A fun-filled four-day weekend of concerts, workshops, community conversations, a marketplace and more, Zimfest is the largest annual gathering in North America of students, teachers, performers, and fans of Zimbabwean music.
Zoe Roberts is a singer songwriter currently attending West Seattle High School. She plays all around Seattle at venues such as The Crocodile, Skylark Cafe, Folklife Festival, West Seattle Farmers Market, Columbia City Beat Walk, 13 Coins, and various events hosted by Totem Star. She has performed internationally at Warung D’Atas Grill & BBQ in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia.
ʔaʔk̓ʷustəƞáwt̓xʷ House of Learning, Peninsula College Longhouse is the first longhouse in the nation built on a community college campus. The vision of the Longhouse to be a center for cultural expression and educational achievement for all students and community members was woven together by Peninsula College and six Sovereign Nations: Hoh, Quileute, Makah, Port Gamble S’Klallam, Jamestown S’Klallam, and Lower Elwha Klallam.
The Korean Community Service Center is a non-profit organization founded by volunteers in 1983. KCSC strives for the betterment of the Korean Community as a whole as well as surrounding communities by providing community and social services for the Korean American population in the state of Washington. KCSC is committed to empowering educating and inspiring Korean American youth and families through counseling, education, and other services. KCSC provides bilingual and cultural services to Korean families.
