The Langston Hughes Performing Arts Center celebrates, nurtures presents and preserves African American arts and cultural legacies. With year round programming that invites the whole community to share in the performing arts, film, music, dance and explore the rich culture of the African Diaspora.
Lao Community Service Center (LCSC) is a non-profit community organization that assists refugees and immigrants with social, cultural, and educational services. LCSC’s mission is to unite and strengthen the Lao Community in the Pacific Northwest.
Our museum in the McConnell Mansion is a friendly place for children and families to visit with historic rooms, changing exhibits, and hands-on activities for young visitors. We offer tours of the museum by appointment, a variety of educational programs, special and annual events, and publications and gifts from the Museum Store. Our research library, across the street from the McConnell Mansion in the Centennial Annex, houses thousands of documents, photographs, and genealogical information.
Latino Advocacy provides policy development and advocacy consulting to organizations and grassroots groups in Washington state focusing on racial justice and immigrant rights. Latino Advocacy conducts workshops, facilitates group meetings, and helps organizations develop specific planning that allows them develop policies that advocate for their specific issues and therefore achieve specific fundraising goals.
Our mission is to promote advocacy and civic engagement in Washington State by encouraging social responsibility and public service through collaboration with community partners.
LCF EXISTS TO UNLEASH THE POWER OF LATINOS IN CALIFORNIA. We fulfill our mission by building a movement of civically engaged philanthropic leaders, investing in Latino-led organizations, and increasing political participation of Latinos in California. To learn more view the video below.
