Since its founding in 2012, Progreso has focused on civic engagement, coalition building, and advocacy around numerous issues that affect Latinos and communities of color in Washington, as well as advocacy for legislative priorities pertaining to education, immigration, carbon pollution, criminal justice, and other issues that affect communities of color.
Project Girl Mentoring Program is a non profit organization providing mentoring, educational and social activities to young women throughout Snohomish County and its surrounding area. The overall goal of the program is to support girls as they develop positive choices while learning new life skills and help them transition into womanhood. We focus on the Positive Youth Development (PYD) approach to help girls acquire the skills and knowledge to become healthy and productive women. We offer creative programs that helps builds strengths and recognize each girls unique contribution to society. As, she discover herself inside a world of other ambitious and accomplished women.
Too many people of color are left out of leadership roles. We must change who is at the table in order to achieve racial equity in our community. You can make a difference through nonprofit board service. For more than 25 years, we’ve been doing something to change that. Project LEAD—Leadership Effectiveness and Diversity—is a nonprofit board training program open to highly qualified people of color. The 1,000+ Project LEAD graduates from the last 25+ years are a testament to our community’s commitment to service and diversity. It’s crucial that we take a stand to make sure our community’s boards are representative of the communities they serve and that all voices have an equal seat at the table. You can be a part of that change.

Somos un proveedor autorizado por la Mesa Directiva de los Contratistas de Construcción del Estado de Oregon para impartir la clase de preparación para obtener la licencia de CCB.
