Leela Kathak
The Leela Kathak Dancers are a group of young dancers from Seattle, Washington, who would like to share with you the joy of dancing Kathak with you. Kathak is a classical dance of North India that combines beautiful movement, spectacular cross rhythms, story-telling and expression. The Leela Kathak Dancers are the students of Urmila Nagar who is the leading dancer of Jaipur style Kathak and the senior-most professor of dance at India's national institution for Kathak: the Kathak Kendra in New Delhi.

You can find the Leela Kathak Dancers performing around Washington state in elementary to high schools,at the Seattle Children’s Museum, Folklife Festival, Utsav,the Ballard Locks, weddings, Swedish Hospital, various fundraisers and in the studio!
