Powerful Voices creates brave spaces with girls* of color, ages 14-19, through social justice programming in and after school, in the King County Juvenile Detention Center, and through case management.
Project Girl Mentoring Program is a non profit organization providing mentoring, educational and social activities to young women throughout Snohomish County and its surrounding area. The overall goal of the program is to support girls as they develop positive choices while learning new life skills and help them transition into womanhood. We focus on the Positive Youth Development (PYD) approach to help girls acquire the skills and knowledge to become healthy and productive women. We offer creative programs that helps builds strengths and recognize each girls unique contribution to society. As, she discover herself inside a world of other ambitious and accomplished women.
