Seattle, WA HSD was created by the Washington State Legislature in 2007 as the first community preservation and development authority in the state to respond to impacts from ongoing construction of major public facilities, public works, and capital projects in both neighborhoods. It is governed by a board of directors with representation from a broad range of stakeholders from both neighborhoods- business interests, residents, arts organizations, non-profits, history and culture and local government.

Mill Creek, WA The Hungarian Family Folk Dancers were founded over 30 years ago to preserve and share the treasures of Hungarian folk dance culture. Supported by the Hungarian American Association of Washington, practices are held weekly in Seattle. The children and adult groups learn the dances progressively. The group performs regularly at the Hungarian American Association of Washington and at other venues, including Northwest Folklife events.

This group is for members and non-members of the American Research Center in Egypt. We are open to all individuals who are interested in Egypt and the research being conducted there.
