EDGE Outdoors is a Washington State non-profit that creates space for adventure, growth, and leadership for Black, Indigenous, Women of Color in snow sports.
The Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to education and the cultural enrichment of our community through the arts. The Foundation gifts more than $80,000 annually in the form of scholarships and grants; over the past 39 years, grants have provided more than $1,000,000 to fund public art installations and large special projects. The Edmonds Arts Festival, held annually in June for more than 60 years, has grown to be one of the most prestigious arts events in the country. Produced entirely by community volunteers, the Festival is the primary fundraiser that allows the Foundation to realize its mission.
The Edmonds Sister City Commission was created by City ordinance in 1988 and reports to the Mayor of Edmonds. The Mayor appoints members to the Commission, subject to City Council confirmation. The 12 non-paid Commissioners serve three-year terms with no term limits. Commissioners need not be residents of Edmonds.
El Centro de la Raza strives to use social, cultural, educational, economic and civic activities as vehicles to bring together peoples of all races and refuses to separate our nation’s economic model from the historic tragedy of racism, poverty, and war.
