EchoX includes a steadily growing searchable database of organizations, groups, writers, artists and others organized by ethnicity, cultural focus, type of heritage work and/or type of community action. Check back often to see newly added listings!

Want to add yourself or a group to the EchoX community listing?
Community resource listings will grow organically as you and others are added! If you’re involved with community work related to EchoX themes – ethnic cultural heritage and social action – click ‘Sign Up’ in the upper right corner and add your own page to the Directory for free!

After clicking ‘Sign Up’ you will be taken to a form to fill out to create your account. Once you open your account, you’ll have ongoing access to an EchoX backend template where you may provide any information you want others to see. You can also add your own events to the calendar with details and artwork.

Founded by Pam and Philip Boulding, Magical Strings has been sharing the joy of Celtic music and dance in the lives of people around the United States and abroad since 1978. They have recorded 21 albums encompassing traditional Celtic arrangements, original compositions and subtle world music influences, collaborating with incredible musicians such as Dan Fogelberg, Garrison Keillor, Alex di Grassi, Amadou Jobarteh, and Keola Beamer. When not on the road, Philip and Pam teach, build instruments, compose, and seem to have boundless energy for their creative life which is nurtured at their home, Magic Hill, on a beautiful farm by the Puget Sound.

We are a group Dedicated to the advancement and education of the Uilleann pipes. The Irish Pipers Club (Cumann na bPíobairí) began in San Francisco, 1979. In 1981 Denis Brooks, a founding member, moved to Seattle taking with him the clubs spirit and new beginnings. Four decades later the Irish Pipers Club has become an Irish cultural icon in the United States.

Dan Carollo is a Seattle-area finger-style and rhythm guitar accompanist who performs a blend of traditional Irish and American tunes, originals and hymns (primarily in DADGAD tuning).

CeltoGrass is the name of the independent record label founded by guitarist Dan Carollo in 2003. The name also conceptualizes the influence of both traditional Irish and American music.

Take a shot of espresso, a pint of Guinness, old-time religion, a slab of peat, a bag of grass clippings and you have something resembling "CeltoGrass".
