CIELO promotes community, self-sufficiency, and leadership of Latinxs in the South Puget Sound area with educational and mental health services, and social and cultural activities. CIELO provides vital support and resources for refugees and immigrants in the South Sound. Our diverse staff knows the challenge of settling in a new land because many of them have done it for themselves. We offer educational, counseling, and advocacy services. These services empower immigrants to realize their dreams. Families and individuals from all nations are welcome.

Since 1996, CIELO has been providing hope to immigrants in Thurston, Lewis and Mason counties. We educate, empower, and connect people with the resources they need to create better lives for themselves and achieve their dreams. These resources include:

  • education for all ages

  • counseling services

  • advocacy for those who have been victims of crimes

But CIELO is more than just a resource center. We are a community hub where people form strong bonds with other immigrants, our staff, and the over 150 volunteers who make our work possible.
