Seattle, WA The African-American Writers' Alliance, a diverse and dynamic collective of Seattle-area writers of African descent, provides an informal and supportive forum for new and published writers.
We help one another polish our skills, provide peer review, and create opportunities for public readings and other media venues. Ultimately the group encourages members to publish individually and collectively.
Our stories—triumphs, tragedies, and whatever is within and between the two—are the history of African Americans. We must tell our stories in our words and encourage others to do the same.

In the 40 years since the first group of Vietnamese businesses took root in this area, Little Saigon has become a vibrant and vital part of the Vietnamese community as well as the Chinatown International District.
Friends of Little Saigon was established in 2011, at the start of massive redevelopment in Little Saigon. Our mission is to preserve and enhance Little Saigon’s cultural, economic, and historic vitality.

Seattle, WA Youth in Focus provides after-school, summer, and partner programs of Digital and Darkroom photography for teens aged 13-19 furthest from educational justice. Our program focuses on Social and Emotional Learning, 21st-century skill development, and courage and risk-taking through art. We offer free or donation-optional tuition and free bus passes to make our program accessible to all.
