Loon Lake, WA
The Loon Lake Historical Society was formed to celebrate the town and state centennials -- and was later very influential in saving the Old Schoolhouse. While preparing for the centennials, many old photos were copied and identified. This was the start of our photo collection. We realized then how important saving the history of the area was and how fast the accurate records and family histories were disappearing.

Chabad is a home for all things Jewish. We are founded on the principle that, while Jews may embrace many levels of observance in their personal lives, there should be a place for all Jews- no labels, no affiliations- to develop a sense of community, to enhance the experience of being Jewish, to learn, and to enjoy Judaism. We provide Jewish holiday programming, adult and youth education, Shabbat prayer services, and much more. But perhaps more importantly, on a personal level, Chabad serves as a shoulder to lean on, a friend, and a place to turn to at any time. Chabad of North Seattle is dedicated to providing an open-door environment to strengthen Jewish life for every Jew of every age regardless of background, philosophy, or level of commitment.
