Portland, OR The Oregon Historical Society is dedicated to making Oregon's long, rich history visible and accessible to all. For more than a century, the Oregon Historical Society has served as the state's collective memory, preserving a vast collection of artifacts, photographs, maps, manuscript materials, books, films, and oral histories. Our research library, museum, digital platform, educational programming, and historical journal make Oregon's history open and accessible to all. We exist because history is powerful, and because a history as deep and rich as Oregon's cannot be contained within a single story or point of view.

Moscow, ID Our museum in the McConnell Mansion is a friendly place for children and families to visit with historic rooms, changing exhibits, and hands-on activities for young visitors. We offer tours of the museum by appointment, a variety of educational programs, special and annual events, and publications and gifts from the Museum Store. Our research library, across the street from the McConnell Mansion in the Centennial Annex, houses thousands of documents, photographs, and genealogical information.

Stanley, ID The Sawtooth Interpretive & Historical Association (SIHA) is a member-based organization that was established as a cooperating association in 1972 when the Sawtooth National Recreation Area was established by Congress. It operates in cooperation with the Sawtooth and Salmon-Challis National Forests. It is certified by the State of Idaho as a non-profit corporation with section 501(c) 3, IRS-approved status.

Anchorage, AK The Alaska Historical Society is a volunteer-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of Alaska history by the exchange of ideas and information, the preservation and interpretation of resources, and the education of Alaskans about their heritage. Governed by a 15-member board of directors, the Society provides a forum and a vehicle to achieve these goals. AHS is a membership organization with 480+ members.
