Seattle, WA We are a group Dedicated to the advancement and education of the Uilleann pipes. The Irish Pipers Club (Cumann na bPíobairí) began in San Francisco, 1979. In 1981 Denis Brooks, a founding member, moved to Seattle taking with him the clubs spirit and new beginnings. Four decades later the Irish Pipers Club has become an Irish cultural icon in the United States.

Seattle, WA The Northwest African American Museum (NAAM) is housed in the historic Colman School building (built in 1909) which overlooks a beautiful, sprawling green park, named after rock legend, Jimi Hendrix, in the heart of Seattle’s Central District. Lynnwood, WA Morning Star Cultural Center was founded in 1985 under the direction of Jiyeon Chech with the purpose of teaching Korean dance, music, and heritage to those interested in sharing the Korean culture. Morning Star has continued to expand and diversify its repertoire, programs and services to the community. Today with the combination of its art preschool, library, dance and music classes, Morning Star serves over 1,000 members of all ages.

Seattle, WA Ana Montes and Flamenco Danzarte performs authenic flamenco with live flamenco guitar music, live flamenco singing..... similar to what you would see in a flamenco club in Sevilla or Madrid.... performances are at various venues in the Seattle area.... also for retirement living facilities, for private parties... Ana Montes teaches flamenco to all levels, children through adults, women and men, at her studio Flamenco Danzarte in Seattle. Ana is trained in Spain, lived there for many years, performed professionally for 6 yrs. in Spain, Europe, U.S.A., and is considered one of the West Coat's premier female dancers.

Festa Italiana is an all-volunteer community organization which produces an annual series of events the last week of September, culminating in a FREE Italian Festival at Seattle Center. Since 1988, Festa Italiana has been celebrating the cultural roots of Italians and Italian-Americans in the Pacific Northwest by promoting the arts, the food and the culture that are uniquely Italian.

Seattle, WA Michelle is one of Seattle’s most experienced dance teachers, having taught full time in Seattle for over twenty years. She was Seattle’s first Salsa teacher and third Argentine Tango Teacher. She was also part of Seattle’s second wave of good WC Swing teachers.
